Adam

Glass Artist & Managing Director

Artist, Mentor, Designer, Activist, and Teacher, Adam Aaronson is a vibrant force in the realm of British studio glass, having turned up the heat in glassblowing for almost four decades. His journey began with curating his family-owned gallery, which showcased stunning glass art, before blossoming into a passionate glass artist himself.

A master craftsman in his own right, Adam's passionate fascination led him to develop his unique methods through self-teaching, capturing the fluid energy of hot molten glass. His wide-ranging talents make him a versatile and skilled maker, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in his glass art.

Adam believes that glassblowing is a true art form, offering endless opportunities for creativity and innovation, and making it a unique and captivating outlet for artistic expression.

“Glass is fascinating - rapidly turning from honey to butter to toffee to stone, all executed during a choreographed ballet of movements.”

Adam Aaronson

Blurring Art & Craftsmanship

Inspired by Impressionist painters and the natural beauty of the Surrey Hills, Adam captures the interplay of light on water and the breathtaking landscapes around him. His work blurs the lines between sculpture, product design, art, and craftsmanship.
Another source of inspiration is Dale Chihuly's iconic work, particularly his massive architectural installations that push the boundaries of scale, showcasing the beauty and artistry of glass in amazing ways.

Adam lives with his wife, Andrianna, in Guildford, and together they share two daughters, Charlotte and Claire and four grandchildren, Rosie, Savanna, River and Valentina.
