Join us for this exhilarating workshop where you’ll create two different pieces of glass from a selection of options. The first will usually be a solid piece, such as a paperweight, abstract sculpture, or bird, and the second will be a blown piece, such as a tumbler, vase, bowl, or perfume bottle. This is the perfect opportunity to make a cherished keepsake for yourself or a lovely gift for someone special. Why not invite your friends and family for a fun outing filled with creativity? Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before; Adam and his team will guide you through every exciting step of the process.
All materials, including your chosen pieces, are included in the course fee.
All pieces are engraved with the maker’s first name and the year of creation.
What To Expect
You will start by choosing the two pieces you want to create: a paperweight, abstract sculpture, bird, tumbler, vase, bowl, or perfume bottle. Next, you will select your perfect colours for your pieces. Adam will then talk you through the fascinating process of creating your design. You’ll then witness the art of glass blowing and hot sculpting in an engaging demonstration. With Adam’s expert guidance, you’ll gather molten glass from our blazing 1150°C furnace and master the skill of glass blowing and shaping your chosen piece using a variety of traditional tools. Each participant enjoys personalised, one-on-one instruction from Adam, empowering you to craft your very own unique glass piece.
We provide all the equipment and necessary safety gear to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.

Dress Code
Please wear clothing that’s suitable for a workshop setting. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and please make sure your legs are covered for safety.
Collection and Delivery
We will need to anneal your mini masterpiece overnight, polish and engrave it so that you can pick it up, usually one week after your creation.

Cancellations
For cancellations made four weeks or more in advance of the course date, we offer a rebooking at no extra cost.
For cancellations made between two and four weeks in advance of the date, we offer a rebooking with a £20 administration fee.
For cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice, we offer a rebooking with an administration fee according to the scale below:
Half-day course: One place £50, extra places £40 each
Bauble or Lovebird: One place £20, extra places £15 each
All other courses: One place £25, extra places £20
